• Facial photos — images of your face that you upload for AI analysis

We do NOT collect:

• Location data
• Device information beyond what is necessary for the App to function
• Browsing history or activity outside the App

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for the following purposes:

• AI Skin Analysis — Your facial photos and personal information are analyzed by AI (Claude by Anthropic) to assess your skin across multiple categories
• Personalized Recommendations — To provide you with a customized skincare regimen based on your analysis
• Account Management — To maintain your account and provide customer support
• Application Monitoring — We use Sentry to monitor app performance, crashes, and technical issues to improve user experience
• Payment Processing — We use Superwall to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions

We do NOT use your information for:

• Marketing or advertising purposes
• Selling or sharing with third parties (except as described below)
• Training AI models or other purposes beyond your direct skincare analysis

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — Your facial photos are sent to Claude AI for skin analysis. Anthropic processes this data according to their own privacy policy and terms of service.
• Supabase — Your data is securely stored using Supabase cloud infrastructure
• Sentry — Application health monitoring and crash reporting
• Superwall — Paywall and subscription management

These services may have access to your information only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes.

Data Storage and Security

• Storage Location: Your data is stored securely in Supabase cloud infrastructure
• Data Retention: We retain your personal information and photos only as long as you maintain an active account
• Security Measures: We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights and Choices

Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account at any time. When you delete your account:

• All your personal information will be permanently deleted
• All your facial photos will be permanently deleted
• This action cannot be undone

Data Export

At this time, we do not offer a data export feature. If you need a copy of your information before deletion, please contact us at skingenieapp@gmail.com.

Communication Preferences

You may opt out of promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages or contacting us directly.

Children's Privacy

Our App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will delete such information.

California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
